Russians bought a record number of new iPhones in the first week of sales.
In Russia, a new record was set in sales of the iPhone in the first week of their release. In just seven days, about 93,000 iPhones of 13 different modifications were sold, writes RBC.
“None of the previous models of the last generation had such high figures. Last year during the same period, there were 57 thousand registrations of iPhone 12 of different types,” Maxim Voevodsky, director of products and analytics at oneFactor, told the publication.
According to the company, 67 thousand smartphones iPhone 11, 29 thousand iPhone X, 41 thousand iPhone 8, and 67 thousand iPhone 7 were registered after the first week of sales of the corresponding models.
Of the last generation of Apple smartphones, most often, Russians bought the iPhone 13 Pro (50%), followed by the Pro Max model (13%) and mini (about 5%). The most popular iPhones are among residents of the Moscow region and St. Petersburg.
Apple presented iPhone 13 on September 14 at the traditional annual product presentation. The new smartphones received reduced bangs, super-resistant glass, and movie effects in the camera.
